During my childhood and beyond, I learned the importance of compassion and mercy. I learned about the periods of light after periods of darkness through the guidance and light found in the Quran and in the life of prophet Muhammad pbuh. The Quran and Hadith became the foundation of my hope in Allah’s mercy and justice. Compassion and mercy changes lives, and the lack thereof devastates entire communities. I joined MSA to help my Muslim community in the best way I can, and encourage individuals from various backgrounds to explore the Quran and the life of our beloved Prophet Muhammad pbuh. I love reminding people of the beautiful names and characteristics of Allah to encourage myself and fellow peers towards goodness. By the will of Allah, I hope I can accomplish just that as a Dawah Coordinator this year.
